As of mid-June 2023, Vietnam Ministry of Public Security has issued more than 80.5 million chip-based ID cards. However, their increasing popularity and convenience make these ID cards easy “targets” of identity fraud for illicit profit. With the aim of eliminating risks in transactions that use chip-based ID cards and helping agencies, organizations and businesses effectively implement Project 06, FPT IS has researched and developed FPT.IDCheck, a pioneering solution that currently leads the Vietnamese market, capable of chip-based ID card data verification by users and facial recognition with 100% accuracy, defeating all chip-based ID card counterfeit attempts.

FPT.IDCheck has been developed on the basis of Vietnam Ministry of Public Security’s chip-based ID card verification application platform, coupled with AI technology that meets international standards ISO/IEC 30107-3:2017, allowing verification of chip-based ID cards with 100% accuracy.

Convenience
