Overview

The ArcFM to ETAP data exchange interface interprets project data from ArcFM CIM xml files and imports the data into ETAP GIS View to create a Distribution System with element connections. Leverage the data from ArcFM CIM, an extension of ESRI's ArcGIS platform, to bring the graphical data for the management of electric, gas, water utility, and telecommunication facilities and land base information into ETAP with the ArcFM to ETAP data exchange interface. This data exchange interface uses the ArcFM CIM XML file format to interpret the project data, and imports the data into ETAP to build a distribution network and further possibly create/link to one-line diagram including the equivalent circuits of the distribution components.
