What is VVEngine?
VVEngine is the advanced profile scheduler for ViceVersa PRO. It is developed by TGRMN Software, the same company behind ViceVersa PRO. VVEngine works seamlessly with ViceVersa PRO. It is specifically designed to run automatically all your profiles.

You can access the VVEngine interface from any machine connected to the network with a Web Browser. You are not limited to the machine where VVEngine is running.

If an error occurs during a profile run, you can set VVEngine to restart the profile after X minutes.

You can "link" ViceVersa profiles and schedule them to run sequentially, one after the other.

Keep Track of the Profiles' History
VVEngine will keep track of all your profile runs and lets you see the number of files and data copied/deleted, any errors, run time elapsed, for up to the last 15 runs.
Setup VVEngine to Run as a Service
VVEngine can be setup to run as a Windows Service. The service will continue to run even when no one is logged on to the server.

Taskbar icon changes depending on the status of the profiles in VVEngine.
Advanced Scheduling Options
You can exclude hours not to run, do not start if computer is using battery power (and/or battery level is low), start only if the computer IP address matches a specified value, report error if a profile has not run for more than X minutes, start only if a file exists or a particular process is not running, etc.
New Global Options
Windows Event logging level, set seconds to wait before running profile on change detection, access to read-only pages without password, etc.
Read-Only Access
Read-Only page and Run/Stop page. A new read-only page where profile schedules are visible but can't be changed. A new run/stop page where profile schedules can be run and/or stopped but can't be changed. Access to these pages can be granted even without a password.
Real-Time, Super-Fast, No Re-Scanning Execution
Monitor source and/or target folders for changes at file or at subfolder level, and then backup, synchronize, replicate files without folder rescanning. Essential over slow connections and for real-time execution with many files. Plus, VVEngine keeps track of all the changes happening so they can be reviewed.
Use the VVConsole to Control VVEngine
Use the VVConsole to control the VVEngine via command line: VVConsole is a command line program that can be used to send commands to VVEngine, e.g. "run a profile", or "disable / enable a profile" or "shutdown". Using VVConsole you can run ViceVersa profiles within VVEngine from third-party programs, e.g. Windows Task Scheduler.

Check Your Profiles Using RSS Feeds
VVEngine can report the latest profile status via RSS feeds to any machine on the network.
HTTP REST API
Check the latest status and eventual errors of all the VVEngine profiles remotely - via the VVEngine REST API. Using the VVEngine REST API and the JSON objects returned, it is easy to monitor multiple VVEngine installations on multiple locations on your network.
