Jobs are like a placeholder for Tasks. In the Job you create Triggers and set the Tasks you want to run in order.

Tasks perform the actual work within a Job. It could be an Execute Task, SQL Task or FTP Task. Each Task has output; normal and error, so you can debug execution and notify you.

Triggers

Triggers are fundamental parts of a Job. A Job can have one or more Triggers. Triggers start the Job, either base on time or an event in the system - like a file has been created.
