Overview
The solution is used for cost calculation, calculation, planning, procurement and financial management. Unit4 MAP improves profitability by simplifying decisions from the start of a project to its end. Through various routines, rapid information channels are achieved for the transfer of experience and knowledge. With Unit4 MAP, you get a good basis for decision-making in your project right from the start. The system can be used from the simplest calculations for manual time/pricing to the most advanced calculations with users of central activity and resource registers and structures at different levels. Through our collaboration with suppliers of price registers, we have developed a number of standard activity and resource registers. For house, land and construction contractors/consultants, there is access to ready-made registers.
Features
Procurement
With the purchasing tool, you plan how purchases and deliveries should be made based on the created calculation.
- Preparation of procurement
- Sending out a tender document with a deadline
- Handling of submitted offers
- Negotiation and ordering
- Allocation and delivery
Calculation
The calculation forms the very foundation of MAP and forms the basis for everything that happens in the other parts of the solution. MAP calculation handles the following functions, among others:
- Net and cost calculation with handling of different currencies
- Project management to help you keep track of your project's documents
- Activity and resource register
- Supplier register with agreements and articles
- Resource compilation, to study the calculus in cross-sectional
- Sales price management, to quickly and easily create priced bills of quantities
- Registers for AMA, components, chart of accounts, etc.
Financial management
Once a production calculation has been prepared, it is used as the original budget and can be analysed against the changes such as change and additional work as well as cost adjustments that are registered afterwards. The supplement is presented in separate columns in the budget summary, which provides a quick and complete overview of the project. For this, the project's delivery notes and invoices can be registered, and booked amount values can also be imported from your EPR system, which ensures an efficient follow-up of the project's finances.
Scheduling
With the calculation as a basis, the time planning can be used to schedule the activities and optimize the use of resources. For example, you can see the distribution of material resources over time, e.g. how many m² of gypsum are needed each week or how many tonnes of base course are needed at a certain time. The schedule can also show activities for one or more selected resources, such as a schedule for a specific subcontractor's activities or your own activities.
