Overview

UMAX for EV is a modular, Microsoft Dynamics 365-based back-office solution tailored for electric vehicle (EV) charging operators and utilities. It consolidates charge-session management, transaction collection, payments, customer accounts and operational analytics into a single, configurable platform that scales with network growth and integrates with payment platforms, meter/MDMS and third-party roaming/OCPI systems. The solution is designed to lower cost-to-serve through automation, provide a 360° customer view, and enable market-driven pricing and margin insights per session and location.

• Core platform & architecture: UMAX for EV is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, offering an open, cloud-native architecture with modular components and standard connectors for third-party integrations (payments, MDMS, roaming networks).
• Charging session management: Manage charging sessions across multiple station types and locations, capture session telemetry and transactions, support roaming/OCPI and reconcile usage for billing and reporting.
• Billing & payments: Automate meter-to-cash workflows for charging sessions — transaction aggregation, dynamic pricing, invoicing, payment processing (integration to payment gateways), subscription and usage-based billing models. Supports margin calculation per session and revenue sharing with site owners/agents.
• Customer & CRM: 360° customer records, self-service portals and CRM workflows enable user account management, subscription handling, dispute resolution and personalized communications. AI and analytics can be used to personalize journeys.
• Analytics & reporting: Real-time dashboards and business insights (e.g., margins by station, utilization, traffic potential) to guide network expansion and commercial decisions; Power BI integration is supported for deeper analytics.
• Asset & field management: Integrates asset and field-service capabilities to manage charger maintenance, scheduling and first-time-fix improvement for on-site repairs.
