Overview

Torx is a chemistry-aware, web-based Design–Make–Test–Analyze (DMTA) platform built to centralize project data and scientific context for small-molecule discovery. It provides an information-rich design workspace where chemists can sketch ideas, view 2D/3D electrostatic/molecular poses, track synthesis status, schedule assays and collaborate securely with internal teams and external partners. Torx is modular (Design, Make, Test, Analyze), supports integrations with known chemistry services, and is offered for on-premise or cloud deployment to streamline DMTA cycles and decision making.

Features and Capabilities

  • Design environment: Torx provides a custom, information-rich canvas for sketching new molecules alongside critical physico-chemical and 3D pose data so design choices are informed and visible.
  • 3D visualization & analysis: Interactive 3D viewers expose electrostatics, binding poses and selectivity views so teams can compare multiple views and understand how changes affect binding and electrostatic complementarity.
  • Collaboration & review: Real-time review, comments and shared canvases let medicinal chemists, assay scientists and CROs discuss designs, capture feedback and keep an auditable design history.
  • DMTA workflow support: Modular Design, Make, Test and Analyze components track synthesis progress, Kanban views for make/test tickets, assay scheduling and test result delivery to close the DMTA loop.
  • Data integration & plugins: Connectors and plugins let Torx call external chemistry services (example: search and reference libraries, compound registries) and transfer data between tools to reduce duplication and speed registration.
  • Project & sample management: Centralized project data, compound libraries, “park”/archive functions and duplicate detection help avoid rework and maintain traceability across discovery projects.
  • Security & deployment: Built for secure collaboration with options for cloud or on-premise deployment and access controls suitable for internal teams and CRO partners.
  • Extensibility & modular uptake: Modular construction permits staged adoption of Torx modules so teams can roll out capabilities progressively as needs evolve.
  • Reporting & analytics: Dashboards and plots combine assay results and design metrics for informed decision meetings and unified review of candidate compounds.
