Overview

Metazoa Technical Debt Center is a desktop‑based suite of seven applications designed to help Salesforce administrators, architects, and COE teams detect, analyze, and eliminate technical debt across their Salesforce environments. It works securely without any package installation and delivers detailed reports and smart deployment tools to clean up unused metadata, stale content, inactive users, forgotten assets, and license inefficiencies.

Features and Capabilities

• **Field & Picklist Usage: **Reports on unused, empty, default, and rarely used fields and picklists—editable compliance metadata, date tracking, and export in CSV, HTML, PDF, and Excel formats. Includes Smart Deploy support to remove unused fields.
• **Stale Reports & Dashboards: **Identifies unused or rarely used reports, dashboards, and email templates by analyzing last activity and refresh dates. Supports Smart Deploy deletions and multi-format export.
• **Change Impact Analysis: **Visualize dependencies across up to 250 metadata types and 1,200 relationships. Generate ER diagrams, browse metadata relationships, and debug deployments using impact insights.
• **Forgotten Assets: **Scan and report on over 45 metadata asset types that are inactive, hidden, or unreferenced. Includes timestamps for creation/modification and Smart Deploy removal capabilities.
• **User Connection Cleanup: **Explore more than 43 ways inactive users remain connected to the org. Remap object ownership, manage inactive email addresses, and clean up security connections.
• **License Expense Management: **Compare costs versus benefits of organization, package, feature, and permission‑set licenses. Identify idle licenses, detect permission/license misalignments, bulk edit, and reassign to cut costs.
• **Desktop Application: **Runs as a secure local desktop player (Windows or macOS) with no managed package installation required, ensuring optimal performance and data protection.
