The Planhat Outlook integration creates a unified inbox, enabling users to receive notifications and sync events directly within Planhat. This feature allows for seamless synchronization of emails from Outlook as Conversations. When an email includes a contact already present in Planhat (matched by email), it is automatically categorized as a customer Conversation and synced. If a contact is not found but their email domain is professional and matches an existing company, Planhat can create a new contact and save the Conversation. The integration offers significant flexibility and configurability for email synchronization, including options to filter out irrelevant emails, manage specific relationships, and handle sensitive material. Any Planhat user can connect their Outlook account individually from their profile's Email tab, with further details available in the Help Center regarding email matching, filtering, and more.
