Product details

PainCAS is a suite of clinically validated pain management and opioid therapy assessment tools developed with funding from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Designed for use in behavioral health and pain management settings, PainCAS enables providers to evaluate patients’ pain conditions, treatment history, and risk for opioid misuse through standardized, self-administered digital questionnaires. The platform supports both initial and follow-up assessments, streamlining workflows and improving treatment planning.

  • COMM-9 (Current Opioid Misuse Measure): Evaluates ongoing risk of opioid misuse during treatment.
  • Self-Led Assessments: Patients complete intake or follow-up questionnaires online, either remotely or in-clinic.
  • Automated Scoring & Reporting: Immediate access to graphical summary reports highlighting key clinical concerns and patient engagement metrics.
  • Validated Instruments: All tools are tested and validated for clinical reliability and effectiveness.
