The Outlook Calendar integration by Planhat allows for the seamless synchronization of customer events from Outlook Calendar into Planhat as upcoming Planned Activities. This feature is designed to populate upcoming meetings directly into Planhat, functioning as tasks for users. The synchronization process begins with the current date, fetching events up to 30 days into the future and presenting them as Planned Activities within Planhat. Additionally, users can push individual Planned Activities of the 'Event' type from Planhat to their Outlook Calendar by selecting the "Save to Outlook Calendar" option during event creation. Planhat intelligently filters synced events, focusing on those involving contacts (End Users) already present in Planhat, identified by email match. If a contact is not found but their email domain is professional and aligns with an existing company's domain, Planhat can automatically create a new contact and save the event. Each Planhat user can connect their Outlook Calendar individually through the Calendar tab in their profile, with detailed instructions available in the Planhat Help Center.
