The OROS 1/n Octave Analysis module is a dedicated software solution for real-time acoustic analysis, providing precise measurement and visualization of sound levels across octave, third-octave, twelfth-octave, and twenty-fourth-octave bands. It uses constant percentage bandwidth (CPB) digital filters and supports multichannel acquisition, enabling simultaneous analysis from multiple microphones or sensors. The software is fully compliant with IEC 61260 and IEC 60804 standards, ensuring reliable and standardized results. It features fast, slow, and impulse time filtering, live overlay of mask and min/max values, and dedicated real-time DSP processing up to 40 kHz. The module includes A and C weighting filters, various averaging methods (Leq, Short Leq, User Leq, Constant BT), and a 1/n octave waterfall display with band profile extraction. Designed for both laboratory and field use, it is suitable for sound power, sound intensity, noise mapping, and environmental noise assessments.
