Overview

Nevron Vision for SSRS is a suite of advanced custom report items for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services across versions (from SSRS 2005 through 2022). It enhances standard SSRS with superior charts, gauges, maps, and barcodes—all tightly integrated into SSRS—even supporting backward and forward compatibility. It empowers report authors to produce compelling business, scientific, and geographic visualizations using a rich, integrated design environment and visual editors.

Features and Capabilities

• Charts: offers a complete set of 2D & 3D chart types, including surface and tree‑map charts, with highly customizable axes, advanced trendlines and calculated series.
• Gauges: supports radial and linear gauges, state indicators, numerical displays, full data‑binding and stylable visual effects.
• Maps: includes choropleth-style maps, full ESRI support, 22 map projections, and sophisticated spatial data analytics options.
• Barcodes: adds both linear and matrix barcode support—functionality not built into native SSRS—with tight binding to report data.
• Visual Design Editors: provides polished visual editors within Visual Studio/SSDT for configuring all report items visually and integrating seamlessly with SSRS.
• Backward and forward compatibility: reports work across SSRS versions (2005 to 2022) and integrate branding and company styling consistently.
• Installation & Deployment: includes both designer and server components; installer redesigned in recent releases; standalone registration utility simplifies deployment across multiple SQL Server and Visual Studio versions.
