Overview

MIK.arjuna is a 64-bit multidimensional database that is ideal for large amounts of data and frequently changing structures. Thanks to in-memory technology, fast response times can be realized. During the development of the MIK.arjuna database, which is specially oriented towards business management, special attention was paid to a quick and easy implementation of the customer-specific user model. User tools for data model maintenance, user authorization and server monitoring form the user interface to the database. The administration and maintenance is user-friendly and can also be managed by the specialist department. MIK.arjuna has a view concept that enables historical views of the data. Simple planning requirements can be implemented excellently. The server has scheduling functionalities such as copying, filling and distributing (splashing). Planning processes in which several planning managers have to enter data at the same time are high-performance thanks to parallel writing. In MIK.arjuna, automatic processes can be easily inserted in a batch-oriented scripting language based on VB.net. The direct connection to MIK.etl makes it very easy to implement complex import and export requirements.
