Overview

LINBIT VSAN is a software-defined storage (SDS) solution that simplifies the management of highly available NVMe-oF, iSCSI, and NFS data stores. Delivered as an easy-to-deploy ISO image, LINBIT VSAN requires three x86 machines, with at least two having built-in storage devices. It can also be deployed into virtual machines, providing direct access to local HDD, SSD, and NVMe drives. The solution creates a virtual data store presented to a hypervisor or other workload via iSCSI, NVMe-oF, or NFS protocols, ensuring high availability by replicating each block to a second virtual appliance.
