Elite Software Light is Windows software for interior lighting layout that quickly computes the number of luminaires required to achieve a specified average illuminance in a room using the IES Zonal Cavity method. It supports both metric and English units, reads and converts IES photometric files from any manufacturer, and includes a large built‑in photometric library with hundreds of luminaires. The program manages large projects with up to 10,000 rooms and supports multiple luminaire libraries with up to 10,000 fixtures each, as well as up to three luminaire arrangement options per room. It is backward compatible with Elite’s DOS Light and automatically looks up and interpolates coefficient of utilization values as part of the Zonal Cavity workflow.
