Transfer «heavy» files securely

Sending large files securely is a real challenge. It is partially restricted by size limits for senders, providers and recipients. There is also a heavy burden on the storage capacity for the relevant email server and archive systems. Common approaches to solving this challenge – using file server systems (FTP, DMS, etc.) and uploading files to a cloud provider for free, for example – are not satisfactory approaches. They require complex authorization management, entail security risks – using services such as Dropbox creates uncontrollable and dangerous shadow IT, for example – and come with high maintenance costs.
