LabChart is a physiological data analysis software designed to create a unified platform for various recording devices. It allows users to acquire biological signals from multiple sources concurrently, apply advanced calculations, and generate plots in real-time as experiments progress. The software offers specialized modules for tasks such as blood pressure analysis, including the calculation of Mean Arterial Pressure and Systolic Pressure, with a simple calibration tool for unit conversion. Its features include Scope View for real-time waveform analysis, Data Pad for converting time-based data into discrete values for statistical analysis, and a Peak Analysis tool for general peak detection with parameters like peak height and latency. LabChart also provides PV Loop analysis for cardiovascular studies and an Analysis Manager for saving and recalling selections. Spectrum View converts time-based signals to their component frequencies, while Arithmetic allows for custom channel calculations using a powerful calculation engine. Additional functionalities include Split View for displaying long-term trends alongside current data, ECG Analysis for automated waveform detection, DVM, and Cyclic Measurements. Video Capture synchronizes video recording with physiological data, and Zoom View facilitates detailed examination of events. LabChart includes preconfigured settings, smart device detection, a Welcome Center, manual or event-driven sampling, signal-specific analysis tools, customizable stimulator control, and full layout control. New in LabChart 8 are the PV Loop Module for ventricular studies and HRV 2.0 for comprehensive heart rate variability analysis.
