Product details

The Reverse Logistics add‑on extends KIBO’s Order Routing intelligence to handle reverse flows: suggesting the optimal return location at initiation and the best disposition at receiving based on your configured strategies. Optional restock updates ensure real‑time inventory accuracy. Returns are streamlined into two smart decisions in one flow. At initiation, Order Routing suggests the optimal return location per line item—automatically splitting returns when needed while still allowing CSR override. At receiving, users select item condition and receive a disposition suggestion, with optional on‑hand inventory updates. KIBO Reverse Logistics empowers operators with strategies, filters, and controls, while enabling flexible workflows for restocking, refurbishing, liquidation, or disposal. Designed for enterprise‑scale returns, it supports both B2C and B2B organizations, including industries such as apparel, footwear, electronics, and industrial equipment.

Features

Two Smart Decisions in One Flow Return Location Suggestion (at initiation):

  • Suggests optimal return locations via Order Routing per line item.
  • Auto‑splits returns when different items require different nodes.
  • CSR override supported. Disposition Suggestion (at receiving):
  • Suggests disposition based on selected item condition.
  • Supports restocking and optional on‑hand inventory updates. Routing Strategies, Filters & Controls
  • Routing Strategy: Rank, Distance, Lowest Inventory.
  • Filters & Attributes: Filter by return reason, item condition, and extensible location attributes for capability and compliance.
  • Operational Controls: CSR override, automatic multi‑return split, restock configuration. Flexible Reverse Flows
  • Route returned items for restocking, refurbishing, liquidation, or disposal.
  • Supports condition capture, guided disposition, and overrideability. Reverse Logistics Mini Demo Flow
  • Record condition once, get disposition instantly.
  • Enables faster refunds, lower reverse freight, fewer touches. Enterprise B2C & B2B Support B2C:
  • Faster refunds, pre‑populated return locations, guided disposition.

  • Policy‑driven returns with filters for reason and condition.
  • Compliant disposition and warranty‑aligned routing. Real‑World Use Cases Apparel & Footwear:
  • Mixed‑reason return; system suggests different return locations and auto‑splits.
  • Configured using Distance + Rank sort and reason filters. Consumer Electronics:
  • Cosmetic damage scenario; disposition to refurb site.
  • Configured using Lowest Inventory sort + condition filters. Industrial / MRO:
  • Warranty RMA routed to certified repair centers.
  • Configured using Rank sort + certification attributes. Composable by Design
  • Works with your current returns portal; exposes suggestions via Order Routing APIs.
  • Reuses routing constructs (scenarios, filters, sorts).
  • Implementation checklist includes enabling the add‑on, creating strategies, restock configuration, and CSR/receiver training.

Benefits

Faster Refunds & Fewer Touches Guided decisions reduce manual effort, eliminate bottlenecks, and accelerate refund cycles. Lower Reverse Freight Costs Optimal routing at initiation reduces unnecessary shipping and handling. Higher Recovery Value Get “like new” items back in stock through restock flows and accurate condition tracking.
