Product details

Juniper Business Cache is a performance optimisation module within the Juniper Booking Engine. It stores data by requested hotel, enabling faster and more efficient management of availability queries. By reducing system load and improving response times, it enhances operational efficiency for both clients and suppliers in the travel industry. This caching solution is designed to streamline traffic between buyers and suppliers. When a buyer requests hotel availability, the system stores the response in the cache. If a similar request is made later, the system retrieves data from the cache instead of querying the supplier again—resulting in faster responses and reduced system strain.

Features

  • Hotel-Level Data Storage: Caches availability responses by hotel for future reuse.
  • Super Fast Response Time: Cached queries are processed in just 0.05 seconds.
  • Incremental Querying: Only new hotel data is requested from suppliers if previously cached data exists.
  • Dynamic Traffic Optimisation: Reduces the number of requests sent to suppliers.
  • Supplier Contract Integration: Suppliers with contract programs including Business Cache are exempt from license and maintenance fees.
  • Client Incentives: First five suppliers activated are free for clients.
  • Scalable Request Handling: Increases system capacity by reducing redundant queries.

Benefits

  • For Clients:
    • Faster Response Times: Improves booking speed and user experience.
    • Wider Product Availability: Enables access to more products, including those from slower suppliers.

    • Operational Efficiency: Enhances system performance and reliability.
  • For Suppliers:
    • Lower System Load: Fewer incoming requests reduce server strain.
    • Improved Response Times: Faster replies due to reduced query volume.
    • No Cost for Contracted Suppliers: License and maintenance fees waived for eligible partners.
