Overview

A modular, headless, and interoperable API platform that enables seamless integration with iRetail product components and business logic. It allows third-party systems—such as airlines, travel agents, and other iRetail modules—to connect with the iRetail platform via robust, public-facing APIs, facilitating the creation of bespoke user experiences. iRetail Exchange can also function as an independent NDC enablement layer, interacting with an airline’s PSS or third-party offer and order components to enhance distribution capabilities. Supporting both legacy and modern API messaging, iRetail Exchange ensures high compatibility, security, and scalability across diverse systems.

Key product components and features:

• NDC API: Facilitates distribution and interoperability across NDC-native and non-native systems by converting legacy APIs to NDC-compliant versions and mapping data from non-NDC systems. It enables airlines and partners to leverage Offer-Order-Settle-Deliver (OOSD) and Interline functions while ensuring alignment with ARMI standards.
• ONE Order API: Streamlines fulfillment and accounting by adopting the ONE Order standard, simplifying customer order management and back-office processes for seamless operations.
• JSON APIs: Offers flexible, JSON-based access to iRetail’s external-facing functionalities, including plan, offer, order, deliver, settle, and interline capabilities, ensuring broad usability across systems.
• API Management: Provides a secure, centralized hub for managing all public-facing APIs, including proprietary and NDC APIs. It ensures robust authentication and authorization, backward compatibility, and version control, along with advanced analytics to track API performance, usage, and error rates.
• API Portal: A developer-focused portal featuring comprehensive API documentation, tools for testing, and resources to ensure smooth integration with iRetail and external systems.
