HyperSnap is a Windows desktop application designed for screen capturing and image editing. It combines screenshot functionality with integrated editing, annotation, and file management tools in a single program. The software allows users to capture content from any area of the screen, including windows, menus, buttons, scrolling web pages, and multi-monitor setups. Captures can be rectangular, freehand, non-rectangular, or automatically scrolled to include content beyond the visible area. In addition to capturing images, HyperSnap includes built-in editing tools that allow users to annotate, modify, and enhance screenshots. Objects drawn over images remain editable and can be adjusted later when saved in the native file format. Since version 9.2, HyperSnap includes an OCR function based on the Tesseract OCR engine. This feature allows users to recognize and copy editable text from screen captures or image files. HyperSnap version 9 is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 10 and Windows 11, including corresponding Windows Server versions.
