Product details

Mount cloud storage and file servers on your NAS. Obtain greater storage potential and faster file access.

Multiple mounting possibilities to expand NAS storage potential

HybridMount can mount storage from various sources, including cloud storage and remote servers. Multiple mounting possibilities help you flexibly expand the capacity of a QNAP NAS (or other supported QNAP devices), while also providing single-interface central management of files on the NAS, cloud storage, and remote devices.

Public Cloud Mounting

Integrate NAS with mainstream cloud services. Cloud storage gateways are also supported to enable low-latency access to the cloud with local caching.

Remote On-premises Device Mounting

Mount a remote NAS or file server, and enable share access to mounted folders to achieve optimal file sharing and collaboration for cross-site workplaces.

Easy, convenient & flexible. Centralize your file management.

Implementing flexible and secure hybrid-cloud storage is incredibly easy with HybridMount. Mount cloud storage or remote servers based on your needs to manage file storage, backup, and restoration from a single interface.

Public Cloud Mounting

Network drive mode Mount public cloud storage to a NAS as a network drive and enjoy an unlimited number of connections! Multi-cloud files can also be accessed through File Station or the Qfile mobile app for greater work efficiency. File-based cloud storage gateway mode Use SMB, AFP, NFS, FTP, and WebDAV to access cloud-based files as if they were stored locally and enable low-latency access to frequently-used data with local caching - ideal for file servers, online collaboration, and file-level data analysis.

Remote File Server Mounting

Network drive mode Mount remote devices (NAS or file servers) using CIFS/SMB, FTP/FTPS, NFS, or WebDAV to centrally access data. Remote folders mounted using CIFS/SMB and NFS can also be set as local NAS shared folders, allowing NAS users with permissions to quickly open/edit remote files and manage them with File Station and the Qfile mobile app.

Key features of HybridMount cloud storage gateways

Smart Caching

Saves cached files in the HybridMount Cache Space on NAS to provide near-LAN access speeds to recently-accessed files.

Integrated Workflows

PC users and applications can easily access cloud-based files using SMB, AFP, NFS, FTP, WebDAV, and S3 protocols.

Encrypted Transmission

SSL encryption ensures sensitive information can be transmitted securely over the Internet.

Local Access Sharing

When multiple local users (authorized individuals or groups) access cloud data, the same cloud files are only downloaded once, helping save bandwidth and associated costs.

Multi-point Sync

Teams working from multiple locations can access, sync, and share cloud-based files using HybridMount without being limited by the Local Area Network.

App Center

Cloud-based files can leverage apps in the App Center for convenient management and browsing.

Key features of HybridMount network drive mount

Mount folders from remote devices to your local NAS, and access remote files just like accessing files on the local NAS.

Multiple Protocols for Mounting

Mount remote devices using CIFS/SMB, NFS, FTP/FTPS or WebDAV protocols for easy file access.

Local Access Sharing

Remote folders mounted through CIFS/SMB and NFS can be set as local shared folders – allowing NAS users to access mounted remote folders based on local access rights (previously only accessible to NAS administrators)
