Tested & Certified Cloud Storage

HiDrive has been certified as a cloud provider by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy for trustworthiness. To this end, criteria such as transparency, safety, quality and legal conformity are checked. HiDrive meets all requirements and received the "Trusted Cloud" certification. The safety and availability at STRATO is confirmed by the independent TÜV Nord certification according to ISO 27001.

Backups

Your data is backed up automatically and regularly by HiDrive, so it can be easily restored. You determine the length of data storage and how often backups are made.

Device backups

Protect your mobile devices from data loss. Regardless of the operating system, you can restore your data thanks to the device backups. You can add this feature to your customer login at any time.

End-to-end encryption

With optional zero-knowledge encryption, you can encrypt your files directly in the cloud software so that no unauthorized person can open or read them. You can add this feature to your customer login at any time.

Two-factor authentication

Enable two-factor authentication in the HiDrive web interface. This works for all logins, even when using HiDrive with network protocols. Two-factor authentication is controlled by the authenticator app, which you need to install on your mobile device.

Flexible access options

Protocols

Flexibly integrate your cloud storage into your systems – for example, as an additional drive on your PC. Access options are SFTP, WebDAV, SMB, rsync, SCP and Git. The Business Essential and Standard tariffs include WebDAV and SMB access options. If you have secured the Advanced or Premium tariff, all of the above access options are included. In the customer login, you can add protocol packages regardless of the tariff or adjust your tariff.

Link API and NAS

With the HiDrive API, you can easily integrate the platform into your own application. Besides, you can also back up data from network hard drives automatically. The cloud storage supports network hard drives from QNAP and Synology, among others. Simply install the corresponding app on your network hard drive and connect it thanks to encrypted data transfer.

Flexible access rights

You can easily share folders and files with a link – time-limited, password-protected, with an expiration date or download limit. You can share the folders so that anyone who has access can upload files to them. In addition, there is a virus scan up to a size of 250 MB.

Different users

Would you like to access your cloud storage together with your family or friends? Simply book as many users as you need. If you use HiDrive with several people, each person has their own folder, so everyone can keep track of everything.

Team Folders

Create folders and add content, documents, or images together. Control who has access to which folders to view or edit files. The team folder function is automatically included in every STRATO package from two accesses.
