Identify, track and manage hazards
With QFM hazards management, view all the relevant hazards for their industry or environment and add additional hazard types when required, using QFM’s flexible configuration. All hazards can be viewed and tracked from one place, and users can identify any possible hazards when assessing a location for future utilisation or ahead of planned maintenance activities.
Ensure workers, operatives and contractors always stay safe and aware of hazardous areas
- **Know your hazards: **Easily search for, identify and locate hazards and group depending on location, risk level and status
- **Stay compliant: **Hazard information and documentation can be found, audited and reported on within the QFM Space platform, ensuring regulatory standards are met and evidenced
- **Manage Asbestos: **Identify hazardous asbestos on floorplans and automatically alert staff to dangerous areas and prioritise workplace health
Hazards management Once identified on QFM Space, hazards can be recorded against buildings, floors or internal locations. Where site plans are maintained, hazards may also be logged against external locations. As part of the Hazards Management module, users can also identify ‘at risk’ areas of their portfolio, highlighting areas that may need further investigation. To ensure health and safety standards are being followed, users can search for hazards ahead of visiting site, identifying not only where the hazards are, but what type of hazard it is and the risk level to them. Detailed reporting on hazards can be done by to ascertain how organisations are performing against KPIs and identify areas of improvements that need to be made to make a site safer for better overall hazards management.
Hazard details register All hazards are assigned standard data fields recording information such as accessibility, status, risk and description. Information is also stored regarding the date and results of the last check and planned date on the next recommended check. More detailed information relating to the specific type of hazard is stored using meta-data technology; this can be adjusted to allow the system to hold comprehensive information about any type of hazard. This includes scoring algorithms to assess risk based on detailed information values.
Asbestos monitoring The QFM Space Hazards module allows instances of asbestos to be recorded and displayed visually on floor plans. This allows relevant staff and contractors to be aware of potentially hazardous asbestos in and around any planned work location.
