Product details

Fibrify Design Suite by 9T Labs enables the full composite additive manufacturing workflow, from CAD import and fiber path design through FEA/FEM validation and machine code generation, to production execution via the Fibrify Production cloud. Engineers can place continuous fibers exactly where needed, bundle paths into plies, and distribute plies through thickness to create 3D composite structures that meet strength-to-weight targets. The suite integrates tightly with leading simulation tools (notably Ansys Mechanical/ACP) to pre-process anisotropic material orientations and automate design iterations until requirements are met. When ready, designs are transferred to manufacturing: the software exports machine toolpaths (G-code) and connects to Build and Fusion modules through the cloud to manage prototyping and scale-up. Fibrify Production acts as a lightweight MES, providing queues, history, statistics, diagnostics, and full traceability across multiple machines—remotely and securely. The result is a streamlined loop—design, simulate, optimize, produce—that accelerates development, ensures repeatability, and scales from prototypes to high-volume series. Key Features & Benefits:

  • CAD to Fiber Layup: Import STEP/IGES and major CAD formats; create tailored fiber paths along contours, faces, and solids for complex features.
  • From Path to Ply to 3D: Bundle reinforcements into plies and distribute them volumetrically for true 3D composite architectures.
  • Integrated FEA Workflow: Pre-process anisotropic orientations, validate with FEA/FEM (Ansys Mechanical/ACP supported), and automate design iterations.
  • Toolpath & Machine Control: Generate G-code for polymer and fiber deposition; send build plans directly to Build/Fusion modules.
  • Cloud MES (Fibrify Production): Manage multi-machine queues, history, statistics, and diagnostics; monitor jobs remotely with full traceability.
  • Data Security: Encrypted (SSL) communications and authenticated transfers to protect IP and production data.
  • Complex Geometry Support: Dedicated tools for hole fibers, contour-derived reinforcements, and fine-tuning of deposition for out-of-plane parts.
  • Scalable Manufacturing: Start with prototypes and ramp to series production with centralized oversight and data collection.
