eMMA Assembler is an advanced analysis module developed by Hexagon that facilitates the joint analysis of tactile and visual data, enabling virtual assembly of components. It integrates the robust analytical capabilities of eMMA Analyst, allowing simultaneous application to multiple component parts. This integration is particularly beneficial for virtual analysis of flush and gap by combining multiple parts. Additionally, eMMA Assembler supports the export of scenes with any component and feature selection as PDF documents for comprehensive documentation.

Features and Capabilities

  • Virtual Assembly Analysis: eMMA Assembler allows the merging of several assembly structures to perform virtual fit analysis. It supports 3-2-1, Best-fit, and Master-Slave alignments, with interactive configuration of parameters for each alignment type.
  • Simultaneous Measurement Analysis: The software enables the simultaneous analysis of measurement results from all selected components. Users can add individual features as well as new linked features from the involved component parts. This feature is particularly useful for virtual analysis of flush and gap by combining multiple parts.
  • Production Quality Overview: eMMA Assembler offers fast and easy loading and selection of measurement results, along with graphic options for displaying results. This provides a clear overview of production quality over time. The results of these analyses can be saved as a 3D session or exported as a PDF report or PowerPoint presentation for easier distribution.
  • Function-Specific Tolerances: The software allows the application of specific quality standards (tolerances) to a subset of measurement results through evaluation definitions (AWDs).
