DP Text is a texting‑based fundraising and donor engagement tool integrated with DonorPerfect. It enables nonprofits to allow supporters to donate, pledge, volunteer, or sign up for events via simple SMS keywords — plus manage donor communications and monitor engagement in real time.

Features and Capabilities

• SMS Donations & Pledges: Supporters text a custom keyword (e.g. “GIVE”) to a unique DP Text number to securely donate or pledge via mobile.
• Volunteer Signups & Event Registration: Use custom keywords or SMS-triggered workflows to allow volunteers to sign up or supporters to register for events.
• Custom Keywords & Automation: Organizations can define their own keywords for different actions (donate, volunteer, pledge, register, etc.), and automate the follow-up response (opt-in confirmation, thank you, further instructions).
• Segmentation & Text Groups: Segment donors/contacts into distinct texting groups for targeted communication.
• Text Widgets & On‑Demand Info Sharing: Embed widgets to capture opt-ins or offer information/directions via text, enabling supporters to get event details or updates on demand.
