The converter is compatible with IDF files exported from P-CAD (versions 2000-2006), OrCAD (version 9.X), and Altium Designer. Once the 3D models of printed circuit boards are imported into KOMPAS-3D, they can be utilized for the precise arrangement of other devices, blocks, and equipment modules. Additionally, the converter facilitates the generation of Bill of Materials (BOM) items for all components within the board's assembly model, with the circuit board BOM being directly derived from the 3D assembly models.
