Directory Manager is an on‑premises, browser-based Active Directory management tool that provides a delegated interface for authorized users (e.g., HR or service desk) to update user attributes, reset passwords, enable/disable and unlock accounts, set account expiration, upload photos to AD and Microsoft 365, enforce data validation with required fields and dropdowns, use Address Sets and Subsets for guided entry, export search results to CSV/Excel, integrate help desk identity challenge, configure via XML, trigger custom PowerShell on updates, and maintain audit logs including last update timestamps and CSV usage logs.
