Product details

OAS Data Historian is a server-based software solution designed to collect, log, and store time-series data from a wide range of industrial and IIoT sources, including PLCs, controllers, databases, and cloud services. It supports industry-standard protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Sparkplug B, and more, enabling seamless integration with modern Industry 4.0 environments. The platform features open-format data logging, allowing users to access and analyze logged data using their own or third-party tools. OAS Data Historian is engineered for high-speed and scalable performance, capable of logging up to 2 million values per second and supporting more than 10,000 tables per server with up to 100 nanosecond resolution. Data is processed on-premise in a FIFO (first-in, first-out) manner to ensure accuracy and completeness. The system includes real-time buffering to prevent data loss during network outages, with automatic high-speed transfer once connectivity is restored. Automated setup and feedback verification features streamline deployment and ensure reliable data capture for analytics, reporting, and compliance.

Key Features

Industry 4.0 Data Source Integration Connects to a broad range of industrial and IIoT devices and protocols.

  • Supports Modbus, Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens S7, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Sparkplug B, MTConnect, AWS IoT Core, Kafka, .NET, REST, and databases[1]. Open Format Data Logging Enables flexible access and analysis of logged data.
  • Data can be accessed with any compatible tool for reporting or analytics[1]. Feedback Verification Ensures reliable data capture and logging.
  • Communication handshaking confirms successful data logging to controllers[1]. Automated Setup Simplifies deployment and configuration.
  • One-Click Database setup for rapid data logging configuration[1]. Data Accuracy and Integrity Maintains complete and accurate historical records.
  • FIFO processing ensures all received data is preserved, not just the latest value[1]. High Speed & Scalability Handles large-scale, high-frequency data environments.
  • Logs to over 10,000 tables per server, up to 100 nanosecond resolution, and up to 2 million values per second to SQL Server[1]. Zero Data Loss Buffers data in real time to prevent loss during outages.
  • All data is transferred at high speed once connectivity is restored[1].

Benefits
