Daily Home Price Flash provides a report of daily home prices, sales and other housing metrics for single-family residential real-estate transactions in nearly all states and more than 200 top U.S. metros. With this solution, you can view the most current home-price movements to help make more informed business decisions. In addition to providing near real-time data on home prices and sales, Daily Home Price Flash provides daily data on several market indicators, including the number of new listings, number of off-market listings and the median time it takes to sell a property. Daily Home Price Flash provides near real-time data to help you better predict home-price changes and estimate the timing for changes in the market. Other housing price reports, such as home price indexes (HPIs), are released monthly or quarterly. In addition, typical home price indices are “noisy” – meaning much of the data cannot be understood or interpreted correctly by machines. To normalize this, our platform uses daily local MLS data and the median sold price per square foot of living area as the basic home-price metric.
