CDN Broker is a SaaS solution by Velocix that enables video service providers to intelligently route streaming traffic across multiple public and private content delivery networks (CDNs). It uses a rules‑driven decision engine and in‑stream switcher to optimise delivery based on cost, quality of experience (QoE), latency, geography and even energy consumption. Designed for carrier‑grade scale, it supports dynamic switching (even mid‑stream) to maintain performance and enable hybrid cloud bursting.
