The Balancing software module from OROS is designed for the precise balancing of rotating machinery, supporting single, dual, and multiplane balancing operations for both rigid and flexible rotors. It operates with OROS 3-Series instruments and accepts input from accelerometers, velocimeters, or proximity probes, accommodating up to 32 sensors depending on the platform. The software provides real-time acquisition of 1X amplitude and phase data, high phase accuracy, and a flexible weight map configuration for correction mass management. It features a user-friendly dashboard that guides users through each balancing step, from data acquisition to correction recommendations and report generation. The module supports both shop and in-situ field balancing, with tools for trim balancing, residual vibration prognostics, and compliance with ISO 1940 balancing quality standards. Multiplane balancing allows for up to 14 planes and includes advanced features such as run-up, coast-down, and steady-state balancing, as well as the ability to import and analyze data from other sources.
