CA Application Delivery Analysis (ADA) was a performance management solution designed to monitor and measure end-user response times without the need for desktop or server agents. By analyzing IPv4-based TCP packets traversing the network between clients and servers, it provided metrics such as network, server, and application latency for mission-critical applications. This facilitated a comprehensive understanding of application performance from the end-user perspective, enabling IT teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks effectively. However, as of June 4, 2024, Broadcom announced the end-of-life (EoL) for CA Application Delivery Analysis, with the discontinuation of package distribution, maintenance, and technical support effective June 4, 2025.
Features:
- Agentless Monitoring: Tracked end-user response times without requiring installation of agents on desktops or servers.
- Comprehensive Metrics: Provided detailed insights into network, server, and application latency.
- Performance Analysis: Enabled identification of performance bottlenecks affecting mission-critical applications.
