Overview

larmWorX™64 Multimedia (MMX) is a powerful OPC-based alarm notification add-on for ICONICS’ AlarmWorX64 system. It enables enterprise-wide distributed alerting by subscribing to OPC Alarm & Event servers and sending real-time notifications via diverse multimedia agents such as email, pager, fax, voice, text-to-speech, phone, popups, marquees or SMS—all configurable through the ICONICS Workbench interface

• OPC AE server subscriptions: Fully supports local and network-based OPC Alarm & Event servers for real-time event monitoring and triggering.
• Filtered alarm handling: Enables filtering and prioritization of alarms to ensure only critical or designated alerts are sent to specific recipients or groups.
• Wide range of multimedia agents: Includes Call-out, Call-in, Public Address (PA), Pager/SMS, Video, Email, Marquee, Sound/TTS, Popup, Task-Tray, and customizable agent types.
• Remote agent support: Agents can be distributed across multiple network nodes with secure remote configuration and support for DCOM-based permissions.
• Runtime control and logging: Provides centralized runtime control with real-time monitoring through the Workbench and detailed event tracking in server journal logs.
• Modular enterprise integration: Seamlessly integrates into enterprise automation environments via OPC standards and the unified ICONICS Workbench architecture.
