Akeneo Supplier Data Manager (SDM) is a powerful module within the Akeneo Product Cloud—or it can be deployed standalone—designed to simplify and scale the onboarding of supplier‑provided product data. It provides a clean, collaborative, AI‑enhanced portal for collecting structured files (XLS, CSV, XML), media assets, and standardized attribute data from suppliers. SDM accelerates time‑to‑market and elevates product experiences by automating mapping, classification, normalization, enrichment, and asset synchronization into PIM systems.

• Supplier-friendly portal: Secure web interface for suppliers to upload files or input templates; user-specific access and permissions control.
• Recursive file imports: Accepts and processes XLS, CSV, XML, and other structured formats.
• Media assets upload: Drag-and-drop media into the portal; linked to products and optionally synced to Akeneo PIM.
