Using AIP, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) managers and Product Safety engineers can evaluate the impact of regulated materials throughout their product lifecycle and validate regulatory reporting decisions. The Hazardous Material Compliance Management Ontology is hydrated with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and published regulatory documentation. The solution enables tracing of regulated materials, such as PFAS, through the Bill-of-Materials and production lifecycle, enabling Product Safety engineers to validate regulatory reporting decisions using published documentation.
