Overview
APEX Inventory Rebalancing enables organizations to proactively shape their supply chain network. AIP allows the user to automate the response to disruptions, avoiding product stockouts, expiration, and excess; thereby improving Network Inventory health, order fulfillment and OTIF.
This application provides real-time inventory visibility by integrating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
AIP allows users to identify discrepancies to forecasted inventory by gathering signal at the root cause. For example, a production step yield below target, or a supplier unable to fulfill the order in full. As signals are detected, the forecast best-case plan is updated and AIP suggests solutions for issues. The AIP Ontology then allows for users to orchestrate changes to source systems of action, solving for identified inventory issues.
Features
- Supply Chain Control Tower: Evaluate health of inventory across levels of the supply chain network. APEX provides an aggregate picture scale of the problem, as well as AIP generated mitigation recommendations.
- Rebalance Decision Interface: Prioritize alerts to focus on the disruptions that need action. Recommendations surface opportunities to rebalance transfers alongside wider implications to projected inventory across the system.
