Hot desk booking The hot desk booking system allows staff to book desks up to a specified number of days in advance using a simple interactive floor plan. Bookings can be made via browser and mobile devices: designed to be a be thumb friendly and require the minimum number of taps to reserve a desk. Space administrators can easily register and de-register staff, or even book spaces for users if a concierge type approach is required. Reports are available to show number of reservation history and statistics, as well as viewing trends such as busier and less popular days.
Flexible employee grouping QFM Space’s Team Group features allow both staff and spaces to be allocated to team groups that exist outside of the normal organisational structure allowing teams to be made up of staff from different parts of the organisation. By allocating both staff and locations to a team group, space managers can direct groups of staff to sit within specified areas. The system provides shaded floor plans, reports and other outputs to view the ratio of staff to locations within each team group. The moves system also allows staff to be moved to and from team groups as part of a move to simplify restructuring projects.
Locker management QFM’s locker management functionality allows lockers to be highlighted on the floor plans, along with additional information such as locker conditions and codes. Staff can be allocated to one or more lockers by the locker administration team either directly from a staff member’s record page or as part of a move. Lockers can be viewed on the floor plan as data layers showing used vs unused lockers by colour shading.
