Product details

Aerial imagery raises the standard for reliable, cost-efficient property data—made even better by technology and machine learning. Flexible delivery can ease integration into your underwriting and rating workflows.

Go higher to uncover ground truth

Application data can get you started on property risk assessment but still leave unanswered questions: How accurate is the information, and is anything omitted? Verifying or uncovering key risk factors and opportunities for property mitigation can be time-consuming and expensive without tools that offer a true overview.

Enrich underwriting with analytics derived from aerial imagery

With high-resolution aerial imagery, the view from above can help reveal risks and bring insurance application of data to life.

Uncover roof information

Uncover pre-existing damage and capture potential hazards or additions like overhanging trees or solar panels with high-resolution views.

Identify mitigation activities

Assess elevation and acreage and monitor defensible space between structures and vegetation for mitigation of wildfire exposure.

Identify attractive nuisances

Detect liability hazards such as swimming pools, trampolines, and amenities with the potential to cause injury to residents or guests.

Detect coverage-impacting attributes

Identify property features that affect coverage, such as pools, decks, and secondary structures.

The world’s highest quality and most comprehensive geospatial image and data library

Verisk sources geospatial data in part from Vexcel Imaging, a leader in aerial imagery data, large-format aerial cameras, and photogrammetry software.
