More Customization Options with PDF Converter
Formerly known as Adobe Normalizer and based on the Distiller utility included in Acrobat, Adobe PDF Converter SDK API converts PostScript (PS), Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), JPEG, BMP, TIFF, PNG and PPML files to PDF. Converter offers batch processing of files and is highly customizable, allowing you to control many aspects of conversion that cannot be controlled through the Distiller interface – including fonts, parameters, what they consume and produce, among other differences between the two. A library of functions that works under the direction of a client, Adobe PDF Converter SDK contains a generic sample of client software, called Democonverter. This provides a basic tool that OEMs can use to develop specific client software that includes individual printing system features.
