AbstraLinx is a metadata‑discovery tool by Softbuilder designed for Salesforce professionals—architects, administrators, developers, and business analysts. It enables organizations to extract, explore, visualize, and document Salesforce metadata from any org without requiring installations or changes to the org. The tool supports two viewing modes (Grid View and Diagram View) for flexible exploration and produces documentation outputs in various formats including HTML, Word, Excel, CSV or Confluence—offering teams greater clarity and governance over their Salesforce ecosystem.

• ER‑Diagram Visualization: Create and customize Entity‑Relationship Diagrams from Salesforce metadata, showing objects, relationships, and custom entities—all auto‑arranged for clarity.
• Metadata Exploration: Deeply navigate Salesforce objects: fields, picklists, roles, profiles, flows, reports, email templates, and sharing rules with parent/child relationship discovery.
• Documentation Generation: Automatically generate navigable documentation and data dictionaries in multiple formats (HTML, Word, Excel, CSV, JSON, XML, SQL, TXT), shareable internally or in Confluence.
• Org Comparison: Compare two Salesforce orgs side‑by‑side and generate HTML or Excel comparison reports to identify differences.
• Export to DBMS DDL: Convert Salesforce schema into DDL scripts for target relational databases—facilitating integration or migration to systems like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Custom Metadata & Requirements Management: Add user‑defined metadata or requirement/user‑story annotations to fields and objects for richer documentation and governance.
