It ensures that all location data ownership remains with the customer. The system works by identifying the cellular mast your device is connected to and providing this information, adhering to local data privacy regulations. It is ideal for scenarios requiring approximate location data and can also complement existing GPS functionalities by integrating with user-provided GPS data. The process involves connecting the device to the 1NCE network, optionally sending GPS data, and then receiving location information via API or the 1NCE customer portal. This enables device positioning without hardware or firmware modifications and can serve as a replacement for existing GPS features.
